Autumn Love
Like coins dropped into brackish pool water,
Your smiles entered my consciousness;Like dawn tiptoeing over distant plains,
Your glow permeated my gloomy darkness;Like rain flowing down grimy window-panes,
Your words cleansed my bitterness;Like dew caressing withered rose-petals,
Your touch awakened my sensations; You were the Adonis to my Persephone
And we found our autumn in the garden of Hades.
